1st Annual Fido Fun Day

Ho, Ho,Brrrrr....

A warm thanks to the festive group who came out smiling, waving and glowing proud of all our wonderful Labs. We really stole the hearts of Oakville this year and were awarded with a plak for Best Walking Group of 2004 in the parade! An award ceremony was held at Oakville Town Hall where President of LRRO Joan Znidarec, and the Kucharski Family with Tera were present to accept the honour and receive Congratualtions from Oakville Mayor Ann Mulvale.

Puppy Arthur fostered by the Ryan/Leger Family was a crowd favourite as well as Linda with her three Labs of each colour including her newest member from LRRO Chester a handsome chocolate.

Christmas Photos with Santa Claus

My Best Friend Pet Boutique in downtown Oakville
is a good friend of Santa Claus!

Sunday December 5th from noon to 5pm santa photos are being taken with him and your dog and of course you are welcome to join in. Packages are a Christmas deal and a percentage goes to Lab Rescue.

We wish you a Merry Christmas!
A great turn out and lots of fun had by all who came out!Thanks to everyone who came out freezing in the early hours, swapping naughty Lab stories and showing Oakville just how wonderful our dogs really are! We got lots of positive feedback and it was fun to see just how excited the crowd got over our special group! We think that Mike Farley and Star met each and every person in the crowd - good job at spreading the word on adoption Mike!! romour had it there were some VERY tired doggies that night! See you again next year!

WHAT A FUN WEEKEND!

June 7 & 8th turned out to be a great weekend - with a good turnout and rain that held out until we were packing up to head home. We all had an enjoyable time catching up and making new friends. All our dogs behaved beautifully and paraded around the show ring like the amazing dogs they truly are!Each dog received a ribbon and a short bio on the Lab was told to the captivated audience. Many thanks to all our adopters who took the time to come out and show just how special our dogs are!

Oakville Santa Claus Parade

November 16 2002

Jingle Bells....Jingle Bells .....and yes we jingled all the way. A fun frosty morning was enjoyed by our small but spirited group. We walked the parade route and did our best to beat the cold. A big thank you to all who came out to help get our good name out there and to show off the wonderful dogs who come through our program. All our dogs were so well behaved and true parade stars with their jingly bells and reindeer ears which most shook off. Thanks again! Happy Holiday wishes and hope to see you next year!!!!

Parade stars included: Chico and Jake, Bear, Molly, Chester, Decker, McGee and Quincey who joined us mid parade.

A big thanks to all came out to support us in the Labrador Owner's Club Specialty Weekend, June 1st and 2nd.

A great time was had by all! The weather was absolutely perfect with bright sunny skies and a cooling breeze.
The dogs were all fabulous in the ring and each of our dogs went home with a dogshow ribbon for being the special dog that they are. It was nice to see everyone again and to catch up and see how everyone is doing. A big applause to all who came out - I'm not sure who had more fun -the dogs? - or us?!!
